Environment Management System ISO14001

The University is accredited to ISO 14001 and ensures that activities such as water use, reusing goods and recycling paper and plastic, are managed to reduce environmental impact. The Department is required to recognise and reduce where possible its impact on the environment. The Department uses the Faculty's Enviromental managment system which demonstrates its impact on the environment.

The University currently run two programs that help staff to become more environmentally aware of their impact on the environment;
